Originally, for the coming year I was suppose to grow my hair out and get those old locks back. It had been 2 years since the last time I had my hair pass my shoulders. However, since it’s the summer down under, long hair is just a no-no for me. I gotten so used to short hair that I couldn’t bare feeling hair behind my neck. I’ve been tying my hair up everyday, there’s just no point in having long hair. Additionally, I can never imagine myself with long hair anymore. So I decided to go back to my pixie cut.

Kept it a bit long, unlike my previous cuts. I love it. Since moving to Auckland, I have been trying to search for a good hair dresser since my hair dresser is in Wellington. I can’t afford going back and forth just to get my haircut. Luckily, there’s a hair stylist next door to our Starbucks store in K’Road so I decided to give it a go. After all, I had that feeling that I wanted to try it out exactly the way I felt the first time I saw my hairdresser in Wellington.

The name of the salon is Hala Hair. Boasts great hair color skills, as proven by winning the L’oreal Colour Trophy 2011. They know what they’re doing. Cut-wise, Tomoko, 12 year experienced, did my cut just the way I wanted it. She understands exactly what the client wants. She also suggested the color of my hair. Though we didn’t move away from my previous color. Greeted by Paul Hala with an excited smile, I was offered coffee, water or champagne. Of course, I went for the champagne. Definitely worth the bux I paid. Check out my new hair with the picture below:
